Most care jobs promise development and fair pay, then leave you exhausted and underpaid. This one is different: an 8-bedded home supporting adults with mental health, autism, acquired brain injury and learning disabilities where you will genuinely make people's lives better every single day, and where the provider actually invests in you from day one
Picture yourself arriving at a home where the people you support are cooking lunch together, laughing over a hobby they love, or getting ready for a shopping trip where you help them budget and choose what matters to them. Your role is to be alongside them in those moments - prompting their independence, celebrating their wins, teaching life skills that matter. One day you're supporting someone through a health appointment, the next you're encouraging them to try something new. It's real work with real impact
You will never feel alone in this. The home invests heavily in your training and development from your first day. You will receive a full paid induction and introductory programme that actually prepares you. Whether you have never worked in care before or you are already experienced, the provider offers QCF qualifications that open doors to senior roles and genuine career progression. Your development matters here
The financial side matches the promise. You will earn between £14.05 and £14.75 per hour on a 35-hour week, with enhanced pay scales that transparently recognise your qualifications and experience. Add 5.6 weeks of annual leave, a matched pension contribution of up to 3% from the provider, a comprehensive wellbeing service through Circle (counselling, exercise advice, healthy eating support), and access to a Blue Light card giving you discounts across high street retailers, days out and holidays. You are not just employed - you are valued
