Most care jobs feel like they're grinding you down before you've even made a real difference. You're exhausted, under-trained, and invisible. This role is the opposite: you'll work just 3 days a week with young adults aged 18-25 who genuinely need what you have to give, in a team that treats training and your development like it actually matters

Picture this: you're helping a young person experience something joyful they couldn't access without you. Maybe it's confidence in a new situation, or simply the comfort of being understood and cared for with real skill. That's your everyday here. You're not just ticking boxes on a care plan; you're literally shaping the quality of someone's life and the memories they'll carry forward

From day one, you get professional training delivered by qualified medical professionals - not a PDF to read alone on your first morning. If you haven't yet completed your Level 3 Diploma, they fund and guide you through it while you're earning. That's a real investment in your future, not just words in a job ad

You'll work across varied locations in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, which means real variety in your week. The team here has people who've stayed for 5, 10, 15, 20 years and beyond - that tells you something about what the culture actually feels like when you're inside it

What you will be doing

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care following each individual's care plan, so you're supporting real people with real needs, not delivering a one-size-fits-all service
  • Offer compassionate personal care and support with daily routines for young adults aged 18-25, including intimate personal care
  • Assist with nutrition needs, helping young people with eating, drinking and making mealtimes genuinely enjoyable
  • Work adaptably across multiple locations within the area, bringing consistency and skill to wherever you're needed that day

Why you will love working here

  • £13 per hour for just 19.5 hours across 3 days a week - real flexibility without losing your income
  • Funded Level 3 Diploma training (if you haven't completed it yet) paid while you work, plus ongoing professional development delivered by qualified medical professionals
  • Paid accrued holiday, auto-enrolment pensions, and access to hundreds of retailer and entertainment discounts through Blue Light Card
  • Long service awards at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25+ years including bonuses, vouchers and additional paid time off - because loyalty is rewarded here
  • A team that genuinely invests in you and a role where you'll feel the actual impact of your care every single day

Is this you?

  • Are you kind and genuinely compassionate - the sort of person who actually wants to help others, not just after a job?
  • Have you got real experience providing personal care, so you know what this work actually involves?
  • Do you hold a full UK Manual driving licence and can travel across different locations?
  • Are you adaptable and genuinely hungry to learn - the type who sees training as something that matters?
  • Can you commit absolutely to safeguarding and demonstrate integrity in everything you do?
