What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people aged 7 to 18, many carrying trauma and adverse experiences, in a home environment
- Work shifts across the week (day shifts and night shifts available, including sleep-ins) as part of a rota that keeps the home safe and stable
- Model positive behaviour, build relationships based on trust, and be a consistent adult presence these young people can rely on
- Develop and apply a trauma-informed approach to your practice, supporting the service's move towards specialist therapeutic care

Is this you?
- Is this you: you've got proven experience working in children's homes or a similar residential setting with young people
- You hold (or are willing to work towards) a Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent
- You've got genuine empathy, patience, and the ability to stay calm when things are hard - because they will be sometimes
- You're right to work in the United Kingdom and you're ready for a permanent role, whether that's full-time or part-time hours that suit your life
