Most care jobs feel like you're just clocking in and clocking out. Not this one. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to build real relationships with the young people in our home, show up with purpose every single day, and become part of a team that actually has your back

Picture this: you're helping someone plan their morning, maybe preparing breakfast together. By afternoon you're supporting them with life skills, joining in with hobbies they love, or just walking and talking. Every day looks different because every person's needs are different. You're not following a script - you're building genuine trust, celebrating real progress, and being a stable, caring presence in someone's life when it genuinely matters

Our team works on three core values: Commitment, Compassion, and Collaboration. That's not motivational poster stuff - it shapes how we actually treat each other and the young people we support. You'll work closely with colleagues who communicate openly, make decisions together that truly matter, and create an environment where both the people we care for and the people doing the caring can thrive

Whether you're brand new to care or bringing years of experience, we invest in you. You'll get full training from the start, clear progression pathways, and ongoing learning opportunities so you can develop your skills and grow into whatever role feels right for your future

What you will be doing

  • Support young people with daily living - preparing meals, personal care, appointments, and helping them manage their time
  • Facilitate and join in with hobbies, activities, and life skills development like cooking and budgeting
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with the people in your care, noticing progress and celebrating it
  • Work as part of a collaborative team, communicating openly and contributing to decisions that impact the home
  • Be flexible across a rota that includes weekends and may include occasional sleep-in shifts

Why you will love working here

  • Structured rota with genuine flexibility and overtime opportunities so you can balance work and life your way
  • Life Insurance worth 2x your salary, giving you and your loved ones real financial peace of mind
  • 24/7 access to Smart Health - virtual GP appointments, mental health support, and nutrition advice whenever you need it
  • Employee Assistance Programme via the Wisdom App with mental health resources and lifestyle support built in
  • Training and clear progression pathways so you can develop your skills and grow your career with us, plus a £500 refer-a-friend bonus when you recommend someone brilliant

Is this you?

  • Are you genuinely kind, patient, and passionate about supporting others? That's the foundation we're looking for
  • Can you show up reliably, ready to bring purpose to your work even when days are unpredictable?
  • Are you a great communicator who actually enjoys working as part of a team and learning from others?
  • Do you have a driving licence and access to transport? Driver preferred for this role
  • Ready to embrace flexibility? This role works around weekends and the occasional sleep-in, and we need someone genuinely open to that
