Most care jobs feel like you're just going through the motions: the same shifts, the same pressures, the same feeling that nobody really has your back. This role is different. You'll join a team that actually means what they say about compassion and collaboration - a place where your wellbeing matters as much as the young people you support, and where genuine growth is built in from day one

Imagine starting your week knowing exactly what your rota looks like, but with real flexibility to pick up extra hours when you want them. Every morning you're showing up with purpose - helping young people plan their day, supporting them through breakfast, maybe heading out to an appointment together. These aren't tasks you tick off; they're real moments where you become a trusted presence in someone's life

You'll work alongside people who actually get it - a team built on commitment, compassion, and collaboration. When a young person hits a milestone or opens up to you, you're celebrating it together. When things get tough, you've got colleagues and management who listen and support you properly. This is the kind of workplace culture that makes you want to come back

The home invests in you from the start: full training, structured development pathways, and access to proper support for your own wellbeing. Mental health resources, virtual GP appointments, financial protection - it all adds up to a workplace that genuinely looks after the people who care for others

What you will be doing

  • Support young people with daily living - preparing meals, attending appointments, helping with life skills like cooking and budgeting
  • Build real, trusting relationships by being a consistent, present figure in their lives and celebrating their progress
  • Engage young people in hobbies and activities they enjoy, from a walk and a chat to structured recreational time
  • Work closely with your team, communicate openly, and contribute to decisions that directly impact the young people you support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to build your skills and knowledge throughout your career with us

Why you will love working here

  • Life insurance worth 2x your salary - genuine financial peace of mind for you and your loved ones
  • 24/7 access to mental health support, virtual GP appointments, and wellbeing resources through a dedicated health platform
  • A structured rota with real flexibility to take on extra hours when you want them
  • Clear progression pathways and comprehensive training to help you build a genuine career, not just a job
  • £500 refer-a-friend bonus when someone you recommend joins the team

Is this you?

  • Are you kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in young people's lives?
  • Can you show up reliably with purpose, even on the tough days?
  • Do you communicate well and actually enjoy working as part of a team?
  • Are you open to learning and growing - whether this is your first care role or you're bringing years of experience?
