Most care jobs feel like you're just passing time. This one isn't. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to build real relationships with the young people we support, show up with purpose every single day, and be part of a team that actually has your back. If you're kind, reliable, and ready to make a real difference, this could be the role that changes everything

Picture this: you arrive at the home and straight away you're part of someone's day. You help plan breakfast, you're there for the appointments that matter, you support with life skills like cooking or budgeting. But it's not just the tasks - it's the conversations on walks, the progress you celebrate together, the trust you build. Every day genuinely is different, and every day you see the impact you're making

You'll work alongside a team that actually collaborates. No ego, no politics - just people who show up with compassion and commitment. You'll communicate openly, make decisions that matter, and be a trusted presence in someone's life. That kind of work fills you up, not drains you

And here's the thing: we invest in you too. Full training from day one, clear pathways to grow your skills and progress, and a workplace culture built on the values that matter - commitment, compassion, and collaboration. Whether you're brand new to care or bringing years of experience, you're supported every step of the way

What you will be doing

  • Help young people plan their days, prepare meals, and attend appointments - being a steady, trusted presence
  • Support with life skills like cooking and budgeting, and join in with hobbies and activities that matter to them
  • Work closely with the team to communicate openly, share information, and make decisions that truly benefit the people you support
  • Build real relationships based on patience, kindness, and genuine interest in each young person's progress and wellbeing

Why you will love working here

  • Life Insurance worth 2x your salary - real financial peace of mind for you and your loved ones
  • 24/7 access to virtual GP appointments, mental health support, and nutrition advice through our health service
  • Structured rota with flexibility to pick up overtime when you want it, plus ongoing training and clear career progression
  • Employee Assistance Programme via the Wisdom App - a wellbeing platform with mental health resources and lifestyle support built in
  • £500 refer-a-friend bonus when someone you recommend joins the team, plus recognition schemes that celebrate your achievements

Is this you?

  • Are you kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping others?
  • Do you show up reliably, ready to work with purpose every single day?
  • Are you a great communicator who enjoys working as part of a supportive team?
  • Are you open to learning and developing, regardless of whether you're new to care or have years of experience?
