Most care jobs feel like you're just clocking in and clocking out. This one isn't like that. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to build real relationships with the young people we support, show up with purpose every single day, and be part of a team that actually has your back

Picture this: you're helping someone plan their day over breakfast, then later you're out on a walk together having a real conversation about something that matters to them. You might support with cooking, budgeting, a hobby they love, or just be that trusted presence when they need it most. These aren't just tasks - they're the moments that change lives

You'll work closely with a supportive team that communicates openly and genuinely cares about doing right by the young people in our homes. Every day is different, which means you'll never be bored, but you won't be thrown in the deep end either. We invest in your training and development from day one, whether you're brand new to care or bringing years of experience. There's a clear path to grow here if you want it

What you will be doing

  • Support young people with daily life skills: preparing meals, budgeting, personal care, and building independence
  • Be a consistent, trusted presence - listening, encouraging, and celebrating progress alongside the young people you work with
  • Work as part of a tight-knit residential team, communicating openly and collaborating to provide the best possible care
  • Help young people access appointments, hobbies, and activities that matter to them, and join in where appropriate

Why you will love working here

  • Life insurance worth 2 times your salary - real financial protection for you and your loved ones
  • 24/7 access to a health platform with virtual GP appointments, mental health support, and nutrition advice whenever you need it
  • A structured rota that gives you consistency, plus genuine opportunities to pick up extra hours if you want them
  • Training and clear progression pathways so you can actually grow and develop in this role
  • £500 refer-a-friend bonus when someone you know joins the team, plus recognition schemes that celebrate what you do

Is this you?

  • Are you kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping others? No corporate speak - just real compassion
  • Are you reliable and ready to show up with purpose every single day? We need people we can count on
  • Do you communicate well and actually enjoy working as part of a team? We're collaborative, not siloed
  • Are you open to learning? No care experience needed if you've got the right attitude and willingness to develop
