Most care jobs feel like you're just clocking in and clocking out. But this isn't most care jobs. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to build real relationships with the young people in our home, show up with purpose every single day, and be part of a team that actually has your back

Picture this: you arrive at the home and straight away you're part of something real. You help a young person plan their day, support them through breakfast, maybe help them get ready for school or an appointment. You're not just doing tasks - you're building trust, one conversation at a time

Your afternoons might look completely different. You could be cooking together, helping with budgeting, going for a walk and a chat, or joining in with hobbies that genuinely matter to them. Every shift is different because every young person is different. And that's what makes this work so rewarding

You'll work closely with a supportive team who communicate openly and make decisions together. There's no them-and-us here - just people who are committed to the same thing: making sure the young people in our care feel safe, valued, and supported to grow

This is a place that invests in you. You'll get proper training and real career development, not just a job you leave at the door. The team here shows up with compassion and collaboration baked in. That's not just words - it shapes how we work every single day

What you will be doing

  • Support young people with daily living - helping them prepare meals, manage their day, and get to appointments
  • Build genuine relationships and be a trusted, consistent presence in their lives
  • Work alongside the team to identify what each young person needs and create real opportunities for them to progress
  • Help with life skills like cooking, budgeting, and hobbies - the stuff that builds confidence and independence
  • Communicate openly with the team and contribute to decisions that genuinely improve the lives of the young people you support

Why you will love working here

  • Life Insurance worth 2 times your salary - real financial peace of mind for you and your loved ones
  • 24/7 access to a virtual GP, mental health support, and nutrition advice through our Smart Health service - because your wellbeing matters as much as the young people's
  • An Employee Assistance Programme with the Wisdom App giving you mental health resources and lifestyle support whenever you need it
  • A structured rota with genuine flexibility and overtime opportunities if you want to take on extra hours
  • Proper training and clear career progression pathways so you can grow and develop in this role

Is this you?

  • You're kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping young people - and it shows in how you show up every day
  • You're reliable and ready to commit to this work with purpose, even on the hard days
  • You're a great communicator who actually enjoys working as part of a team and speaking openly
  • You're open to learning and growing. No previous experience needed - the right attitude is what matters
