Most care jobs feel transactional: turn up, clock out, wonder if you made a real difference. This one isn't. We're looking for a female support worker who wants to build genuine relationships with the people she supports, work alongside a team that actually has your back, and grow into a career that feels purposeful every single day

Picture your week: mornings helping someone plan their day, prepare breakfast, get ready for appointments. Afternoons might mean supporting life skills like cooking or budgeting, joining in with hobbies, or simply going for a walk and having a real conversation. Every shift is different because every person is different, and that's what makes this work matter. You're not just ticking boxes - you're building trust, celebrating progress, and being a steady presence in someone's life

You'll work on a structured rota that actually makes sense: three shifts one week, four the next, running 8am to 8pm on days (or 8pm to 8am for wake nights if you choose). The schedule fits around the needs of the people you support, which means you're working somewhere that puts care first, not just staffing spreadsheets. Your team communicates openly, makes decisions that count, and shows up with the same commitment you do

This provider invests in people who invest in others. You'll get full training from day one, clear progression pathways, and genuine support for your development. Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, they meet you where you are and help you grow

What you will be doing

  • Support individuals with daily living activities: breakfast preparation, personal care, attending appointments, and getting ready for the day ahead
  • Help build and practise life skills like cooking, budgeting, and managing day-to-day tasks
  • Take part in hobbies and activities, and simply spend quality time - walks, conversations, games - building real relationships
  • Work as part of a close team, communicating openly and collaborating on decisions that affect the people you support
  • Keep detailed records and feed back on progress, so everyone stays informed and the care stays person-centred

Why you will love working here

  • Life Insurance worth 2x your salary - genuine financial peace of mind for you and your loved ones
  • 24/7 access to SmartHealth: virtual GP appointments, mental health support, and nutrition advice whenever you need it, plus the Wisdom App for wellbeing resources and lifestyle support
  • A structured rota with real flexibility to pick up extra hours when you want the money or the time off when you need it
  • Clear training and career development - progression pathways that are actually mapped out, so you know where you can go
  • £500 refer-a-friend bonus when someone you recommend joins the team, plus recognition and reward schemes that celebrate what you do

Is this you?

  • You're female and have experience working in residential or supported care (this role is for experienced workers)
  • You're kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping others - not just saying it, but showing it every day
  • You're reliable: you show up on time, ready to focus, and bring a positive presence to the team
  • You're a good communicator who listens as much as you speak and loves working as part of something bigger than yourself
  • You're open to learning and happy to develop your skills through structured training and mentoring
