What you will be doing
- Support young people with daily living tasks - everything from planning their day and preparing meals to helping with personal care and household management
- Work on building life skills like cooking, budgeting, and independence alongside the young people in your care
- Be part of their hobbies, interests and social activities - whether that's joining in or facilitating something they enjoy
- Communicate clearly with your team, contribute to decisions that shape each young person's support plan, and be the consistent, trusted presence they can rely on
- Attend appointments and outings, and document progress in a way that feeds into their overall care and development
