Most care jobs feel like you're just getting through the shift. This one isn't like that. We're looking for someone who genuinely wants to build real relationships with the young people in our home, show up with purpose every single day, and actually feel the difference you're making - because you will

Picture this: you start your morning helping a young person plan their day, maybe preparing breakfast together and chatting about what matters to them. By afternoon you're supporting with real life skills - cooking, budgeting, helping them get ready for an appointment - or just going for a walk and having a laugh. Every day is genuinely different, and every day you're trusted to make decisions that shape someone's life for the better

You won't be doing this alone. You'll work closely with a team that actually supports each other, communicates openly, and shares your values. There's no corporate distance here - just people committed to compassion and collaboration, showing up for the young people and for each other

Whether you're brand new to care or bringing years of experience, we invest in your growth. You'll get full training, clear progression pathways, and ongoing learning opportunities that help you develop real expertise and confidence. Your wellbeing matters too - that's not just words, it's built into how we work

What you will be doing

  • Support young people with daily living - helping them prepare meals, manage personal care, and plan their day
  • Teach and model life skills like cooking, budgeting, and practical independence
  • Attend appointments with the young people and help them prepare for what's important to them
  • Build trusted relationships and be a consistent, reliable presence in their lives
  • Work collaboratively with your team, communicate openly, and feed into decisions that shape their support

Why you will love working here

  • Life Insurance worth 2x your salary - real financial security for you and your loved ones
  • 24/7 access to a health support platform with virtual GP appointments, mental health support, and nutrition advice whenever you need it
  • Employee Assistance Programme via Wisdom App - a wellbeing platform with mental health resources and lifestyle support built in
  • A structured rota with genuine flexibility and overtime opportunities so you can earn more when you want to
  • £500 refer-a-friend bonus when someone you recommend joins the team, plus clear career progression and recognition schemes that celebrate what you achieve

Is this you?

  • Are you kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping others? That matters more than anything else
  • Can you show up reliably, every shift, ready to give your full attention and purpose?
  • Do you communicate well and actually enjoy working as part of a team?
  • Are you open to learning and growing? No care experience needed - just the right attitude and willingness to develop
