Most management jobs in residential care feel like you're drowning in paperwork whilst the actual work with young people gets squeezed out. This isn't one of those roles. We're looking for a Registered Manager who leads from the front, shapes culture, and genuinely moves the needle for the children and young people in your care every single day

You'll step into a home where staff are valued as the absolute core of everything that happens. The children and young people you support aren't caseloads or statistics - they're individuals with real stories, real potential, and real needs. Your leadership sets the tone for how they're met. You'll make decisions that ripple outward through the lives of young people and their families, backed by a team that knows you have their back

This provider is genuinely expanding, which means real opportunities for your own growth and progression. You won't be managing in isolation or fighting battles alone. The culture here celebrates uniqueness, creativity and resilience - both in the young people and in the staff you lead. When you do the work well, everyone around you knows it matters

What you will be doing

  • Register and lead the home in line with regulatory standards, ensuring safeguarding, quality and compliance are woven into every decision
  • Build and develop a team of support workers who are confident, supported and clear about their impact on the children and young people they care for
  • Shape the day-to-day culture and experiences for the young people in the home, working directly with staff to turn values into lived reality
  • Work with families, external agencies and the wider community to advocate for the children and young people in your care and facilitate their positive life experiences

Why you will love working here

  • Lead a home where children and young people genuinely come first, and where your team's wellbeing is taken seriously because it directly impacts the young people they support
  • Join a provider on a genuine expansion trajectory with real career progression opportunities as the organisation grows
  • Work with a recruitment team that values your time - expect confirmation of receipt within 48 hours and clear communication at every stage
  • Be part of a culture that celebrates uniqueness and welcomes talented people regardless of background, where your leadership directly shapes how that values plays out

Is this you?

  • Are you a registered manager with current registration that qualifies you to lead a children's residential home
  • Do you have proven experience managing and developing residential care teams, with a genuine passion for getting the best from people
  • Can you demonstrate a track record of maintaining regulatory compliance and safeguarding standards without losing sight of the human side of the work
  • Are you at least 21 years old and do you hold a full clean driving licence
