Most manager roles in residential care feel like you're firefighting complaints and chasing paperwork. This one is different: it's a chance to lead a progressive service where your decisions genuinely shape outcomes for young people with complex needs, and where the organisation actively invests in your growth to Regional Manager level. If you've got the Level 5 and the drive to make real impact, read on
Picture yourself walking into a home where the team trusts your leadership because you've built a culture of safety and care that shows in the measurable progress of every young person. You're not just ticking compliance boxes; you're overseeing day-to-day operations that feel purposeful, where each placement - whether solo or small group - is tailored to the unique, complex needs of the children in your care. The quality, compliance and wellbeing teams have your back, so you can focus on what matters: making the home a place where troubled kids actually heal
This provider is expanding and they want experienced managers who get it. They don't see you as a cog; they see you as someone with influence over standards and direction. Your performance matters in pounds as well as purpose: bonuses are linked to young people's measurable progression, not just box-ticking. And they mean it about development - fully funded specialist training, clear pathways to Regional Manager roles, and the space to grow to Level 7 Leadership. This is a home where your expertise is valued and your career trajectory is real
