Most care home management roles feel like you're fighting fires and ticking boxes. This one is different: you'll lead a values-driven team in a home that's actually won awards for putting people first, backed by a family-run provider that invests in your success. If you're a registered manager ready to run a home where excellence and compassion aren't buzzwords, read on

Picture this: you arrive at a beautifully appointed residential home in a peaceful Norfolk village where residents live in decorated bedrooms and proper living spaces, not institutional corridors. Your role is to lead the whole operation - the care, the team, the finances, the occupancy - but you're not doing it alone. A Deputy Manager, Administrator, and Hospitality and Housekeeping teams work alongside you, all committed to the same mission: exceptional care delivered with integrity

This provider isn't just talking about values. They're a B Corp certified care group, the only large provider in the UK to achieve that status. They've been named Health Investor's Residential Care Provider of the Year two years running. Their teams consistently score 4.7 on Glassdoor and 4.5 on Indeed - real staff happiness, not marketing speak. Real Living Wage employer. That's the culture you'll be managing into

Your external support matters too. An Operations Manager has your back, and you'll have clear procedures and processes in place to help you grow into the role. You'll develop strategy - marketing the home, maintaining occupancy, hitting financial targets - but always with the freedom to build something that genuinely serves residents and staff. Eight consecutive years in the Top 20 for care home groups shows this provider knows how to do it right
