Most Registered Manager roles ask you to keep the wheels on while everyone else gets the glory. This one is different: you'll lead a supported living service where your vision for quality care actually shapes how things run, your team respects your leadership, and the organisation invests in YOUR growth as much as you invest in theirs
Picture yourself walking into a home where the standards are high, the safeguarding is tight, and the staff look to you because they know you've got their back. You're not drowning in paperwork you didn't write; you're steering the ship. Every inspection feedback, every successful month running smoothly, every team member you've developed - that's your fingerprint on this place
This service believes in building talent from within. They've funded qualifications for managers before you, they run their own training centre, and they genuinely want you to grow into the best version of yourself in this role. You're not just hired and forgotten; you're part of a team that celebrates long service, recognises the extra mile, and listens when you speak up
You'll work 40 hours across a pattern that suits the needs of the service - not chaotic, not understaffed, but structured around what actually needs to happen. And when the CQC inspector walks through the door, you'll know exactly what you've built and why it matters
What you will be doing
- Run all aspects of the home day to day, keeping operations efficient, safe and compliant with regulations and The Quality Standards
- Lead and supervise your staff team, managing performance, supporting development, and fostering a culture where people want to stay and grow
- Ensure safeguarding is woven through everything: policies, practice, incidents, learning and improvement
- Work with the CQC and inspectors, preparing for visits and responding to feedback with confidence in what you've built
Why you will love working here
- Funded qualifications: the service will support you to develop further, because they earn whilst you learn
- Real career progression: apprenticeships in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and access to their own training centre mean you can grow into leadership roles beyond this one
- Refer a Friend scheme: £400 every time someone you know joins and stays, because you'll know fantastic people
- Recognition that counts: high street vouchers and surprises for going the extra mile and good inspection feedback
- Benefits that matter: auto-enrolled pension with life cover, cycle to work savings, employee discounts app, mental health first aiders, and free 24hr EAP counselling whenever you need someone to talk to
