Most Registered Manager roles ask you to manage crisis and chaos. This one asks you to lead excellence. We're recruiting a Registered Manager who doesn't just tick compliance boxes, but genuinely transforms how a team delivers outstanding residential care to people who deserve better

You'll be leading a 14-bed residential service where the focus is on helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and choice. This isn't about warehousing; it's about empowering adults to relearn essential skills and move towards real independence. Every day you'll see the tangible impact of structured, compassionate support - and you'll be the leader making that happen

The home has a CQC rating of Good, and your job is to push it further. You'll have access to a dedicated regional team of Clinical and Specialist Advisors who are genuinely invested in your success, not distant bureaucrats checking in quarterly. This support structure means you're never managing alone

Career progression isn't a vague promise here. Many managers in this provider have moved up into senior leadership roles across the whole organisation. You're not just managing one home; you're building a portfolio of experience that opens doors to much bigger opportunities if you want them

What you will be doing

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a 14-bed residential service, setting the tone for a calm, structured and empowering environment where choice and independence are genuinely respected
  • Manage your team with integrity and humility, building a culture where staff understand that outstanding care starts with how you lead them
  • Oversee service quality and maintain full awareness of CQC legislation, updates and best practice, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with your assigned Clinical and Specialist Advisors to develop individualised support plans that help residents move towards greater independence
  • Take responsibility for managing budgets, rostering, staff development and safeguarding on your own initiative, with strong organisational skills and time management

Why you will love working here

  • Salary of up to £48,000 per annum, plus an annual bonus of 21% - that's real money recognising real impact
  • 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) so you can actually recover and enjoy life outside work
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity provision, because when you're building your own family, you shouldn't have to panic about finances
  • Ongoing training and development backed by an award-winning Learning and Development team, plus access to an Employee Assistance Programme for your wellbeing
  • We cover your DBS check costs and renewals, career progression opportunities across a whole group of services, a staff referral scheme with generous bonuses, and Blue Light card discounts on everything from high street shopping to holidays and cars

Is this you?

  • Is this you - experienced in a senior leadership role within residential care, with proven track record managing both people and quality outcomes?
  • Do you hold or are you actively working towards a Level 5 Qualification in health and social care or management?
  • Have you worked in an acquired brain injury, complex needs or similar specialist setting and genuinely understand what these individuals need?
  • Are you someone who demonstrates positive values and genuinely commits to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing, not what's easiest for the service?
  • Can you show good awareness of CQC legislation and best practice, and are you comfortable working on your own initiative while staying connected to a supportive wider team?
