Most deputy manager roles in residential care feel like you're fire-fighting: reactive, under-resourced, stuck in the same role for years. This is different. This is a chance to step into genuine leadership at a growing provider where two homes are already rated Outstanding and Good, and where your next move isn't sideways - it's up

Imagine leading a team that actually has your back. This provider was only established in 2023, but they've already built something rare: a culture where exceptional safeguarding and therapeutic care aren't buzzwords, they're lived every day. You'll work alongside a supportive leadership team that sees your potential and invests in it. If you're ready to move from senior support worker to deputy manager, or you're already qualified and looking for a home that values you properly, this is it

You'll oversee day-to-day operations in a children's home where young people genuinely thrive. That means real autonomy to shape care strategies, lead your team with compassion, and know that every decision you make lands - not gets lost in layers of bureaucracy. With 37.5 hours a week, you'll have the headspace to do the job properly, not just survive it

The investment in you is concrete. They're funding Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for the right people. Regular face-to-face training, online upskilling, and a team that celebrates you (monthly rewards, staff events, an extra day's holiday on your birthday). Blue Light discounts and wellbeing support through Bright HR. Free parking. Casual dress. This isn't a box-ticking benefits list - it's a provider saying: we value your labour and your life

  • Competitive salary of £35,250 to £37,000 per year, with a clear progression route and management training funded
