Most care jobs feel like you're supporting from the sidelines. This is different: you're stepping into a leadership role at the ground level of a brand new 9-bungalow supported living scheme opening July 2026, where you'll shape how an entire service runs from day one. If you're a Team Leader or Senior care professional ready for your natural next step, and you're a confident driver, this is your moment
Picture this: it's your first week and you're not inheriting someone else's systems or firefighting old problems. You're working alongside a registered manager and PBS practitioner to build something from scratch, supporting nine individuals to live independently in their own homes across the scheme. You'll oversee the support team, manage rotas, handle medication, and lead shifts - knowing that every decision you make in these early months sets the tone for how this service will run for years to come
One morning you're helping someone plan their day and attending a medical appointment with them. By afternoon, you're supporting life skills like cooking and budgeting, joining in with hobbies, or simply taking a walk and having a proper chat. You're building real relationships, celebrating real progress, and being a trusted presence in people's lives who have complex needs - autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions. No two days are the same, and every day genuinely matters
You'll work in a team that's built on Commitment, Compassion, and Collaboration. You're part of a community that shows up with purpose and leads with empathy. Your Cluster Team Manager has your back, your support workers know you care, and the people you support feel genuinely listened to. This is what it feels like when a workplace actually lives its values
