What you will be doing
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns across the residential and education facilities
- Carry out general building maintenance and repair work to keep the site safe and functioning day to day
- Conduct basic statutory testing and inspections to meet building and safety compliance requirements
- Drive service vehicles as required to support site operations and maintenance tasks
- Participate in on-call rotas and flexible working arrangements to cover the year-round operation of the service

- You hold a valid driving licence and have reliable access to your own vehicle
- You're hands-on and resourceful, comfortable with varied maintenance work and a flexible approach to the unexpected
- You can respond quickly and reliably to breakdowns and urgent requests without fuss
- You're proactive and willing to learn new skills; basic statutory testing and inspection knowledge is valuable but we can support training
- You understand the importance of reliability and safeguarding in a residential setting for young people
