What you will be doing
- Prepare, cook and assemble a range of dishes - appetisers, entrees and desserts - to the home's recipes and quality standards, working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Monitor food and supplies inventory, ordering new stock as needed and keeping the kitchen organised and fully stocked
- Keep the kitchen spotless and fully sanitised, following all health and safety guidelines without cutting corners
- Report any equipment faults to management promptly so nothing holds up service
- Handle any issues with residents' orders quickly and helpfully, and support other cooks when the workload demands it
